Way back when in middle school,

where ppl didn care if u were cool

way back when u didn care

wut to eat r wut to wear

way back when ur friends were tru

and u could share secrets kept between the two of u

but now in this awful place

that is truly not the case

u have to be perfect

u have to pay a price

there r many things to sacrifice

make-up, boys, and phone calls

no more frilly dresses or barbie dolls

way back when i was stupid as heck

when life was good

when it was as it should
